On Trend ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), Australian Privacy Principles, and international laws like GDPR.
We collect the following types of personal data: camera access and outfit images, location data, device and usage information, style preferences and profile data, account credentials and contact information, community-generated content, product views and interaction data, and camera feed (used only during AR Try-on).
Data is collected through direct input during sign-up and profile setup, device permissions (e.g., camera, location), automatic tools like cookies, Firebase, or third-party SDKs, and integrated third-party services.
We process your personal data with your informed consent, when necessary to provide our services, and to comply with legal obligations.
We use your data to generate personalized styling suggestions, display community content, improve performance and resolve bugs, communicate with you, and enable AR and AI experiences.
We use AI to offer style recommendations. These decisions are automated but not legally binding, not used to discriminate, and your content is not used for AI training unless you provide consent.
Camera access is required for AR try-ons. The camera feed is used only for real-time try-ons and is not stored unless you choose to save it.
You own your content but give us a license to use it within the app. You may delete your content anytime.
Data is stored on Google Cloud (India, Australia, or regional equivalents) and protected using encryption, access control, and compliance protocols.
Usage data is stored for 24 months. Outfit images are deleted after processing unless saved. Community content is retained until deleted. Inactive accounts are deleted after [e.g., 180 days].
You can access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent, opt out of personalization, and file complaints with regulatory authorities (India: Data Protection Board, Australia: OAIC, EU: Supervisory Authorities).
The App is not intended for children under 15. If data is collected from such users, it will be deleted promptly.
We use cookies and tracking tools for analytics and personalization. You can manage permissions via your device settings.
Our AI is designed to avoid bias, support diverse fashion identities, and represent a wide range of users.
International transfers are protected through standard contractual clauses, GDPR Art. 46, APP 8 (Australia), and DPDPA rules.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App means you accept the revised policy.
